OPIFICIO [opiˈfiʧo] is an audiovisual and collective project, part of the cultural association EATART, based in Venice, Italy. Taking its meaning, ‘a job to do’, from latin, it represents not only an industrial complex but the ideal workspace – the facilitator project part of EATART – where we engage the city through the promotion of local and international music, art and culture.

The collective has been bringing together local artists, musicians, and the young community of Venice through especially club events – in warehouse locations and other disused buildings – bringing the city back to life through nightlife, which was groundbreaking for Venice.

From this growing position, OPIFICIO believes in its ethos of giving birth to a place where people from different backgrounds, handle different projects, and the role of the local art scene is a key element.

We are first and foremost a sound-space where you can coexist, collaborate and create, but also experience yourself.
